About Desiree Scales, CEO/Founder

Desiree Scales is Chief Executive Officer of Bella Web Design, Inc., an award-winning Atlanta-based company that provides a full range of web design and online marketing services.

Desiree founded Bella Web Design in 1998 following a successful career as an analyst for Delta Airlines. Since the company’s launch, Desiree has created a track record of success and profitability for Bella Web, which has helped over 200 companies in more than 35 states build and maintain a strong online presence with services such as compelling website design, web hosting, email marketing, and social media consulting.

One of the oldest and most successful web design firms in Atlanta, Bella Web Design was recognized for its outstanding work by winning a 2011 Webby Award, a prestigious international competition that honors excellence on the Internet. The company was an Official Honoree in the Webby Awards Events category, which recognizes distinguished efforts in using the web to promote events across a wide range of industries and initiatives. Bella Web Design won the award for its custom WordPress website created for Universal Whisky Experience, a new whisky tasting event in Las Vegas designed to attract consumers of premium whiskey beverages. Desiree, a Chicago native who graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.A. in Public Relations Journalism and Minor in Music Vocal Performance, lives in Woodstock, Georgia, with her husband Rob and two daughters. Desiree has committed Bella Web Design to performing work for non-profits, including pro-bono website creation and providing charitable organizations with assistance in their online efforts through her Bella Cares program. She is currently an active board member of the Atlanta Music Project.
